Queens’ name is heard all around the lonely planet today.
Yesterday, the popular travel brand, Lonely Planet, announced their 2015 best in the U.S. travel locations. The best part about this announcement was our home, the often overlooked, but also the biggest New York City borough, Queens made the number one spot.
But why Queens?
Now that Brooklyn’s shores have pretty much completed their cultural and economic growth by hosting vibrant neighborhoods like Williamsburg, Downtown Brooklyn, and Dumbo it was only a matter of time before the west side shores of Queens began to follow suit.
Where is Queens?
Positioned directly on top of Brooklyn, and on the east side of Manhattan and the East River, you’ll find the largest of the five New York City boroughs, Queens.
Queens is not only the home of our hip boutique hotel, it’s home to one of the fastest growing real estate locations in the renowned “city that never sleeps.” Many museums and tourist attractions can also be found in Queens, but we’ll save those details for a later post.
