Today is Follow Friday and we had a craving for something sweet. This craving lead us to one of our local bakeries, Sweets First.

Located only a block away from our hotel at 35-04 35th St. at the corner of 35th avenue, this cozy bakery had the perfect cure for our sweet tooth.

Sweets First Bakeshoppe and Cafe’s staff member, Chris, welcomed us with open arms and was quick to highlight their best cupcakes for us to try.

We tried four of the fan favorites:

Terminator 1 | Vanilla Ferrero Nutella

Terminator sounds scary, but there’s nothing scary about this chocolate cupcake toped with Nutella and Ferrero Rocher. Yes we said it, Ferrero Rocher!

Twilight | Oreo Cup cake

Oreo cookies are loved by many and the Twilight cupcake serves you with a blast of Oreo cookies and cream with the perfect splash of chocolate drizzle.

The Breakfast Club | French Toast Cupcake

The Breakfast Club was one of our favorites, if you love french toast this buttercream cupcake will definitely satisfy your tastebuds.

Glazed Carmel Cupcake

Our sweet tooth got the best of us and we missed grabbing a photo of the highly recommended Glazed Caramel cupcake but rest assured, it was more than delicious.

Cake in a Jar

Sweets First also offers some delectable cake in a jars. We are totally coming back to try the Oreo cake in a jar.
