Open Canvas
The Paper Factory Hotel opened its doors to art prior to its soft opening for the Open Canvas Event. Local and international artists attended the event and were invited to use the building as their canvas. A group of interdisciplinary artists created unique artworks including paintings, photography, performance, and more. The final product can be seen on the walls of The Paper Factory Hotel where inspiration lives and creativity begins.
Pop Up Spa Party
Summer started early at The Paper Factory Hotel! Guests and local patrons spent an afternoon at the Gazebo of The Paper Factory Hotel where they were pampered and ladies received complimentary makeovers from famed local Astoria spa, Rejuvenate Face and Body. Attendees also enjoyed tasty beverages from local beverage suppliers, Beyond Kombucha, who were debuting their new flavor of kombucha tea. The laid-back vibe in a luxurious setting left guests with smiles and treats.
Ned Rifle Filming
Hollywood arrived at The Paper Factory Hotel! Independent movie producer Hal Hartley/Possible Films spent the day filming the finale of their popular Ned Rifle series. The film crew and actors turned the hotel into a movie set, the first movie to capture the unique design of the hotel.
